Stock investment strategy is a plan that outlines how and when to buy and sell stocks in order to make a profit. This paper conducts a literature review and syn-thesizes six most common stock investment strategies using technical analysis categorized based on topics and complexity that guides stock investors to identify and evaluate daily trading opportunities relating to the volume and price movement of each stock. As a sophomore college student, I noticed the lack of systematic stock strategies that could help different types of investors make investment decisions is necessary especially for beginner traders. So the main goal of this paper is to produce an easy-to-read reference and investment manual for them, such as KDJ indicator, Candlestick Chart, Candlestick patterns and etc, so they can be more informed and prepared to dive into the stock market. I hope this paper can help everyone who interests in stock investment or wants to get to know it some insightful and useful messages.
